Rockets are the means by which players travel from world to world. They are the first objects the player builds in the game.

All rockets are modular, so any combination of nose-cone, cockpit, and engine can be used to form a rocket. The modular rocket parts can also be put on properties. All rockets requires the use of a Launchpad to operate.

Rockets can be assembled and taken apart in the following worlds: Venture Explorer, Avant Gardens, Nimbus Station, Starbase 3001, MoonBase, DeepFreeze, Robot City, Portabello, Nexus Tower.

Assembly Solarblast Rocket[]

The Assembly Solarblast Rocket is an Assembly rocket designed by Doctor Overbuild.

The Solarblast's modules are available exclusively to Assembly members. The Assembly Solarblast Rocket Nose Cone, Cockpit, and Engine were sold by Meldric Steamvalve during the construction of Nexus Tower for 2,000 coins and 60 Assembly Tokens each. When Nexus Tower was completed, Torbert Oscillator began selling the modules instead.

Classic Rocket[]

The Classic Rocket is one of the three original rockets of LEGO Universe, making its first appearance in the "Answer the Call" trailer. The Classic Rocket is known for its sleek, white exterior with red accents and aerodynamic design that gives it an elegant appearance. It is also noted for its powerful engine.

All three of the Classic Rocket's modules were among the cargo aboard the Venture Explorer en route to Nimbus System. Players may collect the three modules while escaping the damaged spacecraft. However, players who missed this opportunity can purchase the modules from Brutus Speck in the Avant Gardens Launch Area for 500 coins each, or seek the modules upon their return to the Venture Explorer. Collecting all three modules completes the Classic Rocketeer achievement.

The Classic Rocket is also available in numerous color schemes: the Classic Blue Rocket, the Classic Yellow Rocket, and the Classic Pink Rocket. Their modules can all be found aboard the Venture Explorer and sold by Brutus Speck for 500 coins each. Collecting all three modules of a rocket unlocks its respective achievement: Blue Rocketeer, Yellow Rocketeer, and Pink Rocketeer. Collecting all four Classic Rockets completes the Rainbow Rocketeer achievement.

Two Classic Rockets appeared in the final cavern of Map 377, an unreleased test zone which used many assets of the Spider Cave. One Classic Rocket was slightly modified and appeared to be mounted on a rail truck. The other Classic Rocket was trapped in a spiderweb on the wall.[1]

Deep Freeze Rocket[]

The Deep Freeze Rocket is a rocket modeled after the pine trees of DeepFreeze.

Dee the Chickadee rewards players with the Deep Freeze Rocket Nose Cone after they smash ten Maelstrom Beavers. After these missions are completed, Honor Accolade sells the Deep Freeze Rocket modules for ten Faction Tokens each.

Duck Rocket[]

The Duck Rocket is a very rare rocket modeled after a duck.

The Duck Rocket modules are received upon opening a Duck Rocket Reward Pack. The Musclenaut GT Rocket has an Maelstrom Conversion Engine that absorbs Maelstrom energy and converts it to fuel. It based upon the Muscle Car Rocket designed by Gotheria, the grand prize winner of the January "Build a Rocket" Contest, and adapted for use in LEGO Universe by Duane Hess.

The Musclenaut GT Rocket modules are available for purchase from Ace Warprider in the Venture League Map Room of Nexus Tower. Each module costs 3,000 coins. Unlike most rocket modules, the Musclenaut GT modules will not turn into bricks if deleted.

Nimbus Rocket[]

The Nimbus Rocket, noted for its dark lines and unique launch effects, was designed by Doctor Overbuild. It is a stealth rocket which allows Minifigures travel across the LEGO Universe without being detected by the Maelstrom.

In order to receive the Assembly Badge, players must speak with Mardolf the Orange. The Assembly Wizard lets players choose one module of the Nimbus Rocket and assigns them with the task of building a new modular rocket using this component. After this mission is completed, Honor Accolade sells the Nimbus Rocket modules for ten Faction Tokens each. All three modules can also be purchased from Autumn Helix in Brick Annex and Gwen Tweenbangle in the Assembly Storerooms for 500 coins each.

The Pirate Rocket's modular components were kept in barrels in Pirate Camp until they were stolen by ninjas and taken to Forbidden Valley. Betty Hatchesbatten sends players to find these barrels and retrieve the rocket modules. The barrels are hidden at Ravencloud Gate, Cavalry Hill, and Paradox Refinery. Although the modular rocket components are slightly-damaged, Betty Hatchesbatten quickly fixes them up and gives them to players. After this mission is completed, Honor Accolade sells the Pirate Rocket modules for ten Faction Tokens each.

Players can obtain the Starskull Rocket modules by using a Skeleton Dragon to dig up bones. These bones can be brought to Brick Annex and given to Mardolf the Orange, who can use them to build the player a random skeleton rocket Nose Cone, Cockpit, or Engine.
